Spectrum of action

After application, Mancozeb forms a protective film and prevents the plants from penetrating of the infection. While Metalaxyl-M is with protective and curative action. It is taken up by leaves, stems and roots. After application quickly penetrates into the plants tissues and destroys the already emerging pathogens. Protective effects are up to 15 days depending from the weather conditions.

Metalaxyl-M differs from the common Mefenoxam by having primarily the more effective against the diseases R-enantiomer while the common Metalaxyl have equal R and S enantiomers. This means reduced content of Metalaxyl-M in the formulation but same efficacy.

Instructions for use

Make the first application when disease threatens or when first visible signs of disease occur within the field or nearby. Apply every 5 to 7 days under high disease pressure or every 7 to 10 days under low disease pressure. It is recommended to apply the product in alternation with a fungicide having a different mode of action. Water volume will vary depending on the amount of plant growth. Use sufficient water to obtain adequate spray coverage.
